Bliss Balls

These are protein-packed and delicious. They make a great snack, especially while out for a day of climbing or hiking.

1 cup walnuts
1 cup almonds
2 t cinnamon
1 t nutmeg
12 oz. dates, pits removed
2 T dried cranberries or goji berries
dried coconut flakes for rolling, about 1/2 cup

DIRECTIONS

Blend nuts in food processor until finely ground. Add cinnamon and nutmeg and blend briefly. Add dates and berries slowly until thoroughly mixed and thick.

Roll into balls. Roll in coconut flakes and refrigerate.
